Abstract:The relationship between the hull plate whole deflection and local shrinkage of line heating techniques was studied .Firstly ,based on the theory of thermal elastic‐plastic finite element ,the mat‐ical model of line heating was introduced which combined local shrinkage and the whole deformation . The temperature and displacement analysis results demonstrated the model′s reliability .Then ,a con‐cept of influence factor of deflection (IFD) was proposed through the analysis between the whole de‐flection and local shrinkage .Moreover ,a model considering the relationship between the IFD and geo‐metrical parameters was established .Finally ,the error of the experimental and the model value is 5 .13% ,w hich reliability that the model is verified .
