Abstract: This paper focus on the issue of how to mine high quality users and resources in folksonomy systems. There is a relationship of mutual reinforce between users and resources. We propose a new iterative algorithm, called Social-Quality, in this study to measure the qualities of users and resources in folksonomy systems. We evaluate the quality of top users mined by our algorithm based on a real-world annotation data set which is sampled from Delicious. Furthermore, we use the quality information of resources obtained by Social-Quality to enhance information retrieval. The experimental result shows that our proposed algorithm is inspiring. ? 2011 by Binary Information Press.
