摘要:In order to investigate time-frequency characteristics of natural wind, the stationary wavelet transform is applied to the wind velocity measured on top of a 200 m high building under strong wind condition. The wavelet coefficients of the measured wind velocity histories and the simulated data obtained by the conventional harmonic wave superposition method are analyzed by statistic methods such as probability density, kurtosis and skewness analysis. The results show that the conventional simulation method cannot reflect the local self-similarity and intermittence of the fluctuating wind velocity. Based on the results, a novel method using the inverse stationary wavelet transform is presented. In simulation process, the Log-Poisson law is applied to generate wavelet coefficients and powers of wavelets at each scale are determined by a power spectrum selected. In the end, taking a practical case for example, time-marching curves are simulated. The results from the statistic analysis of the simulated data demonstrate the validity of the presented method. That wavelet coefficient sequences need not to be interpolated at each stage proves the convenience of the method.
