Abstract:Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and nano-ferric oxide (Fe3O4) are mixed and added to nitrilc butadiene rubber (NBR) to produce new nanomaterials with extensive research value. The carbon nanotubes and the nano-ferric oxide are ball milled and mixed with nitrile butadiene rubber powder by a ball mill, and the mixed materials are vulcanized to form MWCNTs/Fe3O4/NBR composite materials. The prepared samples are characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, vibrating sample magnetometer and network vector analyzer. Finally, the attenuation values of electromagnetic waves passing through the MWCNTs/Fe3O4/NBR composite sheet in the 2-18 GHz band are calculated numerically. In addition, compared with the attenuation value actually measured by the free space method, the results show that the two trends are consistent, and the actual measured value is less than the calculated value.
