Abstract: A temperature control platform is designed for a 4L jacketed reactor based on using a commercial software package named LabVIEW. The hardware of the temperature control platform includes an electric heater, an inverter compressor, a thermal exchange bath, and a programmable logic controller (PLC) that is mainly used to acquire and transmit real-time data along with implementation of the control command. The software package LabVIEW, is adopted to compile the control algorithm and monitor the control system operation. A temperature control experiment is conducted based on the proposed platform to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design of temperature control platform.
