摘要:In this paper, a new reinforced thin-walled beam is presented by structural optimization. The shape optimization is performed by defining sample curve with the main control point, interpolation point and fixed point. Thus, only three design variables can control the sectional shape of the rib. The ideal point method is adopted to construct the multi-objective optimization including energy absorption, specific energy absorption and initial peak force. The proposed reinforced beam has higher energy absorption performance compared to the empty square beam and the foam-filled beam.
