摘要:The conventional structural topology optimization is to design the
structure layout with fixed external loads. In addition, the linkage
model of components in a structure has a great influence on the optimal
topology design of structure layout due to the load transfer function of
components connection. This paper was focused on concurrent optimum
design of components layout and connection in a complex structure.
First, a new type of material model was introduced in the connective
domain and different material distributions represented different
connections between components. Second, the design variable is about the
relative material density of loading-carrying domain and connective
domain. Third, a topology optimization based the proposed approach was
developed as well as the corresponding solving technique for designing
structure and connection distribution. The effectiveness of the present
design methodology and optimization scheme is demonstrated through
numerical examples.
