Abstract:The identification of the vibro-acoustic fields of a point source and a cylindrical shell underwater in half space is studied numerically by phase conjugation arrays. The influence of the reflecting surface such as sea surface or sea bed on the identification is investigated. The numerical results show that the reflecting surface does not increase the spatial resolution but increases the field magnitude produced by the phase conjugation arrays and improves the identification accuracy.
