Abstract:Soft yoke mooring system (SYM),one kind of single point mooring system,would be occurred a fatigue problem during long period alternating loads.According to the characteristics of soft yoke mooring system in shallow water,the monitoring information was determined and designed.In the monitoring process,the phenomenon of transverse-oscillation of SYM was found.Based on the first complete elliptic integrals,theory equation of Trans verse-Oscillation in a considerable angle was constructed.Using the method of the TLD substructure model test,dynamic vibration absorbing for the SYM was studied.The experimen tal result shows that,the effect in vibration control can be reached more than 80% by adjusted the appropriate depth and weight of TLD model.
