摘要: This paper presents a new method for parameter estimation of a quadraticfrequency modulated (QFM) signal based on the fractional Fourier transform(FRFT). Firstly, the proposed algorithm transforms the QFM signal into a linearfrequency modulated (LFM) signal by means of instantaneous correlation function,and then the parameter estimation of the QFM signal is performed by the FRFTand dechirping method. Subsequently, the effects of the delay parameter on theestimation performances are studied by a first-order perturbation analysis andthe criteria for selecting delay parameter are pointed out too. The results ofstatistical analysis show that the estimated MSE of the proposed algorithm canapproximate the Cramer-Rao lower bounds (CRLB) by the reasonable choice of delayparameter at high SNR.
