Sensitive detection of humidity based on tilted fiber Bragg grating coated with Graphene oxide and multi-walled carbon nanotubes

Abstract:A finctionalized tilted fiber grating (TFBG) sensor based on graphene oxide (GO) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MNCNT) was proposed fbr the detection of environmental relative humidity (RH). GO-MWCNT composites were coated on the surface of TFBG by heating deposition. Environmental humidity detection through the TFBG cladding mode resonance peak changes. The test results show that the relative humidity (RH) detection range is 30%-90%, the maximum sensitivity is 0.32/0 RH. Furthermore, the proposed humidity sensor exhibits good perfbrmance in terms of repeatability and stability
