摘要:In order to explore the influence of ceramic particles on the mechanical properties of resin-based friction materials,SiO_2 particles were employed to reinforce phenolic resin based friction materials. The influence of particle characteristics on the bending strength of materials was studied through three-point bending experiment, the elastic stress distribution model was established, and the internal elastic stress field distribution was analyzed from the perspective of micromechanics. The experimental results show that the bending strength of the composite is decreased and the elastic modulus of the composite is increased after adding SiO_2 ceramic particles. The bending fracture section of the composite shows the characteristics of brittle fracture, during which the crack runs through the particles. The bending strength of the composite is decreased with the increase of the content of particles, and decreased first and then increased with the increase of the elastic modulus of particles. The theoretical analysis shows that the maximum stress value of the friction material is located at the edge of the particles, the maximum stress value is increased with the increase of the ratio of the elastic modulus of the particles to the matrix, and the average stress of the composite is positively related to the content of the particles.Experimental and theoretical studies show that the addition of ceramic particles causes the stress concentration in the material, which is positively related to the elastic modulus and the content of particles.
