Abstract:
A fractal slice model was established based on the reported model to predict the effective thermal conductivity of a porous crystal layer via layer crystallization. The temperature distribution of the crystal layer was obtained by the fractal slice method. The simulation results agreed with the experimental data better than the other theoretical models. The results were helpful to enhance the thermal transport by mitigating the thermal resistance effectively. (C) 2013 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim
