摘要：In this paper, a novel solution strategy based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is developed for simultaneous optimization of cost-optimal heat exchanger network synthesis (HENS). Compared to sequential method, simultaneous approach usually needs establishing a more complicated mixed integer nonlinear program (MINLP) model that has complex multi-peak search space. Our work is trying to develop an efficient optimization algorithm to solve the complicated model. The proposed strategy is applied to four examples taken from previous research about HENS, and the results prove that the method is more effective to HENS problems.
