摘要:Long-lasting Sr3MgSi2O8:Eu2+,Dy3+ blue phosphor powders with sub-micrometer particle size were prepared by co-precipitation method employing hydrolysis of TEOS in water-ethanol mixed solutions and precipitation was performed with ammonium carbonate ((NH4)2CO3). The effect of the calcining temperature on the microstructure, crystalline particle morphology and luminescence properties of Sr3MgSi2O8:Eu2+,Dy3+ is systematically discussed. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and fluorescence spectrophotometer were employed to characterize the phosphor. Sr3MgSi2O8:Eu2+,Dy3+ single phased phosphor was achieved by calcining the as-precipitated precursor at 1100 .C. SrSiO3 was identified as the intermediate phase during the calcination process. The obtained phosphor showed a long afterglow peaking at 458 nm, a slight blue shift due to the decrease in grain size. The Sr3MgSi2O8:Eu2+,Dy3+ crystallites showed quasi-sphere morphology. Despite the small particle size, the emission intensities were higher by the present method. However, the afterglow characteristic was not better than that prepared by solid-state reaction in the comparable condition.
