摘要:To enhance the global seismic capacity of steel high-rise building structures, a method based on the uniform-damage seismic design had been proposed. Firstly, singularity of global stiffness matrix was adopted as the failure criterion of the structures. Secondly, the modal pushover analysis was performed to unveil the law of weak story distribution. According to the law of weak story distribution, section-change story was suggested. Thirdly, the method based on uniform damage design was proposed. The structure is preliminarily designed with the same design stress ratio. Then the structure is subject to modification through modal pushover analysis to realize structural uniform damage. Finally, two 20-storey structures were designed through conventional philosophy and the uniform damage design method, and their global seismic capacity was compared, the results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in the paper.
