摘要:With the rapid increase of bridge spans over years, suspension bridges become more flexible and especially more sensitive to the wind action. Also, the extreme environment of bridge always presents the characteristic that wind and rain act together. In order to discuss the wind-rain induced dynamic responses of the long-span suspension bridge, the harmonic wave superposition method is applied to simulate the stochastic fluctuating wind; the impact force of raindrops on the bridge girder is also simulated based on the classification of rainfall and the characteristics of raindrop spectra. The finite element model of a suspension bridge is established and the dynamic responses subject to wind load and wind-rain load are calculated respectively. The comparisons of the results indicate that the rainfall has a certain impact on the bridge dynamic responses and the responses increase as the rainfall intensity increases, the effect of wind-rain induced responses cannot be underestimated.
