摘要：Structural health monitoring (SHM) is not only a power tool to ensure integrity and safety of a structure, but also a in-situ test system to investigate the real behavior in operation condition and deterioration evolution of performance of a structure. This paper summarizes the advances in SHM in the mainland China, including sensing technology and novel sensors, and health diagnostic theory. The applications and R&D status of SHM technology in the mainland China are also introduced. Finally, the key challenges and issues in SHM area are figured out.
