摘要:Making an immediate estimation and prediction of damage degree of all kinds of wind vulnerable structures before the landfall of typhoon is very important for government emergency response and the evaluation of capability of urban disaster prevention and reduction. Wind hazard damage estimation of industrial buildings which are the typical wind vulnerable structures in southeast coastal cities was investigated. The reasons for wind damage of structures were analyzed in detail. According to the characteristics of failure modes, the envelop elements and the connections are the most important parts of the damage analysis. The typhoon load model includes the combinative effect of exterior wind pressure, wind-induced internal pressure and windborne debris damage. The calculation method of resistance of the element and the procedure of the damage estimation were described, meanwhile, the damage state of industrial buildings was graded. At last, an example was set by building a model and using the data of typhoon CHANCHU (No. 0601) to demonstrate the whole process of damage estimation. Typhoon-induced damage degree of industrial buildings could be estimated fast through this method; moreover loss reduction and preparation for hazard emergency response could be achieved.
