摘要:Based on the nonlinear elastic-plastic Pushover analysis of a super-tall huge steel frame structure by using a finite element software, failure modes of different huge steel beam locations and heights are obtained. By comparing maximal displacements of these failure modes, the optimal structure of huge steel frame structure can be obtained. Then, the failed brace of the optimal structure is replaced by the buckling-restrained brace and the failure mode of the new structure is compared with the former failure mode. The analysis results show that the buckling-restrained brace can change the weakest failure mode of the huge steel frame structure, which significantly improves the seismic capacity. When the failure brace is gradually replaced by the buckling-restrained brace, a super-tall huge steel frame structure with optimal economy capability and seismic capacity can be obtained.
