Abstract:This paper deals with seepage force on the bottom of multi-piers resting on an elastic seabed. Both theoretical analysis and experimental work were conducted. An analytical solution for the seepage pressure was presented and verified with laboratory data. Theoretical results generally agree with experimental data.
