摘要:A systematic investigation to understand the impacts of the
variable-thickness blade on the structural strength and performance of
the first stage impeller for a domestic large flow centrifugal
compressor is undertaken.The geometric models of 9 shrouded impellers
with variable-thickness blade are mainly established by CAD software
Solidworks,static structural analyses are carried out using finite
element software ANSYS,and CFD simulations are performed with the CFX
code.Emphases are placed on the variation of maximal von Mises stress in
FEM analyses,and the distinction of impeller internal flow behavior in
CFD simulations.The variable thickness of blade is found to exert the
great influence on the structural strength and performance of a
centrifugal compressor.Furthermore,the computational results indicate
that the appropriate increase of blade thickness close to trailing edge
can remarkably improve the strength and aerodynamic characteristics of a
shrouded impeller.Finally,the theoretical bases are given for the
structural optimization and the performance improvement of a large flow
centrifugal compressor and a nuclear reactor coolant cycling pump
impellers.
