Abstract: An H∞controller design technique for tracking targets is proposed based on a switched model of an aero-engine. Firstly, a switched LPV model is constructed using gain-scheduling parameters, which owns the advantages of nonlinearity and real time observation. Secondly, a sufficient theoretical criterion is provided to guarantee the H∞performance in the format of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), where the switched controllers can be easily constructed by utilizing LMIs Toolbox in Matlab. Finally, simulation results are given to show the validity of the proposed design method. © 2016 TCCT.
