Abstract:Selecting 3J21 alloy as the research object,this paper describes the research on the machining of micro-grooves and slots using the electrolyte jet. The possibility of machining micro-structures was investigated. Taking widths and depths of grooves as determination indexes,influences of processing voltage,processing time and electrolytic pressure on morphology of grooves were mainly discussed. Grooves with widths between 100μm and 150μm and depths between 50μm and 100μm,and a kerf width less than 160μm were obtained using the optimal processing parameters.
