Abstract:The design of the multifunctional rotary ultrasonic machining device can make the variety of ordinary maching tool to machine soft and hard materials by using the rotary ultrasonic machinging process. The standard Morse taper and cavity of the device are detachable and can be easily replaced. The ultrasonic signal can be transmitted to vibration system by non -contact electromagnetic induction. The transducer and horn of vibration system are integrated as a whole and have been optimized by using finite element method. The tool head connects to the vibration system in hot charging mode.
