Scenario analysis of household energy consumption and CO2 emissions in China

摘要:The significant difference in household energy consumption and CO2 emissions per capita between China and developed countries was studied. By using scenario analysis, the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of China before 2050 were analyzed compared with developed countries. The results showed that, household energy consumption and CO2 emissions per capita could be increased dramatically in all the scenarios-North America, Europe and East Asia. Only through policy scenario from the experience of developed countries, can the household energy consumption and CO2 emissions per capita be controlled effectively. And the policy scenario is the most suitable way of the urbanization development in China.
