摘要:A quasi-two-dimensional model was proposed to describe the pressure drop of heterogeneous ice slurry flow without considering ice melting processes. A cubic velocity surface equation and a concentration diffusion equation were introduced in the proposed model which was derived from a multiphase flow computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model. The results reveal that the proposed model is composed of three items that represent pressure drop caused by liquid phase, solid phase and phase interaction, respectively. Therefore, the proposed model is able to quantify the pressure drop of each fluid phase. Under low flow rate regions, the pressure drop caused by liquid phase and ice particle phase shows reverse relationship with flow rate and ice particle concentration. With the increasing of flow rate, the ice particle concentration becomes a main factor affecting the distribution of phase pressure drop. Comparing to experimental data, the proposed model presents excellent efficiency and accuracy with relative errors limit of ±10%.
