Abstract: A graphene film on a titanium substrate was fabricated via facile drying of a graphene suspension on the titanium wafer at 50 °C for 12 h. The graphene film thickness could be modulated conveniently by changing the volume of the graphene suspension. The graphene nanosheets were characterized by Raman spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy. The graphene/titanium electrode as prepared displayed stable electrochemical properties as revealed by cyclic voltammetry measurements. © 2011 IMechE.
