Profile
Li Baojun, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Faculty of Vehicle Engineering and Mechanics, Dalian University of Technology (DUT), China. He is the vice dean of the National Virtual Simulation Center for Experimental Teaching of Automotive Engineering (VSCET-AE, DUT).
He is the member of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and also the senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) and the senior member of the Chinese Computer Federation (CCF). He is also the member of three Chinese academic committees such as the Geometric Design and Computing Committee of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CG/CAD/CAE), big data special committee of the Chinese Society of Graphics (big-data driven), and the special committee of the China Numerical Simulation Alliance (CAE) as well.
His research interests include computer-aided design and graphics, big-data driven design methods, CAD/CAE integration for complex products design, and corresponding software research and development. He has published about 50 papers in the academic journals and conferences. He received Level-B awards (ranked first) of Liaoning Natural Science Academic Achievement consecutively in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, His paper was awarded the Best Poster Award in NUMIFORM 2013, a top conference initiated by O.C. Zienkiewicz.
