Topics



Purpose:

While steel-framed building structures are becoming taller and larger, there are concerns about large-scale earthquakes in urban areas. This network accelerates various researches to ensure the safety of these building structures, restore them quickly from earthquake damage, and make them continuously available before and after earthquakes, by sharing the information about the latest study on design, monitoring, construction and damage reports in each country and promoting international joint research.



Important dates:

·         Presentation registration deadline : June 16,2023

·         Program determined : June 23, 2023

·         Manuscript submission deadline : June 28, 2023

·         Workshop : July 10-11, 2023

 

Presentation Registration:

·         Presenters are requested to register by filling this questionnaire  (https://www.wjx.top/vm/whY6xvB.aspx#). 

·         The deadline is June 16, 2023.

 

Manuscript Submission:

·         Create the manuscript using the reference document which can be downloaded here RESIST_template2023.docx

·         Send it to wanghaoyang_ouc@163.com by June 28, 2023.

    Program has been arranged based on the following policy.

            · Single session program.

            · Online conference with Zoom. (online only)

            · Participants (professors, Ph D candidates and other students) from the network

            · Universities give presentations about the latest study about steel building structures.

            · 15 minutes for single presentation including discussions. ( 20 minutes for a keynote lecture.)

            · PLEASE KEEP YOUR PRESENTATION WITHIN 10 minutes at longest , to ensure discussion time.

            · Two or more pages abstract for a presentation is collected and will be distributed to all participants as a single pdf file.

            · Starts at 9:00 CST (=UTC+8) and finishes at 16:00CST each day.
