Research Field

Prof. Enyu Guo currently works in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Dalian University of Technology since Dec. 2017. He obtained his PHD degree from Tsinghua University (China) in Jan. of 2014. He did postdoctoral research in the Arizon State University, US (collabration  with prof. Nikhilesh Chawla, now at Purdue University) and The University of Manchester, UK (collabration with prof. Peter D Lee, now at University Colleage London).

Prof. Enyu Guo's current research of interest mainly focuses on the following three topics:

(1) Fabrication and processing of light alloys (Mg and Al) and their composites

(2) Bioinspied structrual materials design and manufacturing for light weighting and high strenth applications

      (3) Synchrotron X-ray characterization technique development and applications

Prof. Enyu Guo has published more than 80 papers, including more than 70 journal article publications and has presented more than 20 talks in the conferences.
