A healthy team culture can accelerate personal growth that relies on an vigorous, cheerful, and productive team environment. We act up to and practice on a daily basis according below five guidelines.

1. 6C should be in the mind when we start the research. They are Curiosity, Courage, Challenge, Concentration, Continuation and Confidence. Curiosity is the start of the story and is the best motivation for doing science, courage is the basis to face challenge. Overcoming the challenge needs concentration and continuation, where confidence is generated during the process.

2. 1R3C should be in the mind when we are in the team work. They are Respect, Communication, Comprehension, and Cooperation. Differently from groupthink, interdisciplinary research need us to find the balance between collaborative work and independent thinking. Therefore, we respect the individuality and autonomy of each member. Comprehension of individuals builds up on the basis of timely and sincere communication which makes harmonious cooperation.

3. Real science often hides behind unsatisfactory experimental results. Exploring those "black holes" needs courage, patience and time. We respect and have the open mind to novel research ideas. To abandon the blundering academic environment, we won't evaluate someone's work simply based on indicators of publications such as impact factors, number of publications, or citation index but instead focusing on grounding research itself. We always keep the keen sight on experimental phenomena and producing creative work of the highest quality.

4. In some of the perspectives, the right kind of criticisms make us grow. We bear in mind Confucius's dictum, “I do not want a friend who smiles when I smile, who weeps when I weep, for my shadow in the pool can do better than that.” Sometimes, experiencing vulnerability stimulates the latent creativity. Therefore, we bravely confront uncomfortable dialogue and recognize that criticism is often a blessing in disguise. Meanwhile, we clearly know that criticisms result in solving problem instead of suppression of personality.

5. Success is only one step away from the finally positive persistence. The story of the invention of light bulb exemplifies the importance of perseverance in science. We do not avoid difficulties, but face them directly and actively seek solutions. We understand that mistakes, failures and struggles are not a negative reflection of us, but only part of the learning process. Therefore, we rationally analyze each experience to find ways to improve, rather than being consumed by negative emotions.
