Profile

Liu Hongsheng, professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Energy and Power, Dalian University of Technology, is currently the deputy Dean of School of Energy and Power, and the person in charge of the national first-class online course "Engineering Fluid Mechanics". He has been engaged in researches on porous media combustion technology and salt gradient solar pool mechanism for a long time, presided over 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, presided over or participated in a number of petrochina Science and Technology Innovation Fund projects, and published 1 academic monograph and more than 70 academic papers, including 18 indexed by SCI and 28 indexed by EI. He has been engaged in the teaching reform and practice of fluid mechanics for many years. The undergraduate course of Fluid Mechanics is the university-level gold course, and the postgraduate course of Advanced Fluid and Gas Dynamics is the university-level excellent course. He has presided over 3 national undergraduate quality engineering projects, 2 education reform projects of energy and power majors in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Education, and 4 education reform projects of general higher education in Liaoning Province. He led the team to win 1 special prize of Liaoning Provincial Graduate Teaching Achievement Award, 1 first prize and 1 third prize of Dalian University of Technology Teaching Achievement Award, edited 4 textbooks, including 1 national planning textbook, and published more than 10 teaching research papers.
