Abstract: Profile error detection is a key factor in an automatic line heating closed loop system. Based on the characteristics of differential geometry and the tabu search algorithm, a method for the profile error of ship hull plate processing surface is presented. The method was proven to provide reliable judgment for ship hull plate forming.
