Abstract:Precision control in ship production is one of the most important technologies in modern shipbuilding. And it is also an important constituent of modern scientific management of shipbuilding, which aims to reduce the workload for repetitive modifications of components, shorten the shipbuilding period, and lower costs. In view of this precision control in building a ship's hull, it is of great importance to know how to calculate appropriate compensation amounts. This paper mainly studies key technologies for determining appropriate compensation amounts for ship hull parts. In the paper, a database is constructed for the measurement of hull part machining. A computing method is developed for determining compensation amounts based on variability in hull part machining in accordance with statistical quality control theory. This approach to tolerance compensation amounts has been developed according to the dimension chain principle.
