Abstract: This paper aimed at researching the research frontiers of international innovation theory.Based on literature metrology,it used the top 5 SSCI Journal that contains the highest number of scientific publications which related to innovation theory from web of science as the sample.Result showed that:Performance、research-and-development、technology、knowledge、industry、firms、management is always the hot topic of innovation theory,.The three papers writing by Smith A,Hekkert MP,Geels FW are high-quoted.
