Abstract:Regarding in-cylinder gas of diesel and its combustion chamber parts (cylinder head, piston group, and cylinder liner) as a coupling whole, the heat transfer numerical simulation is done on it and the wall boundary condition of in-cylinder flow computation is obtained. Three-dimensional transient flow numerical simulation of 6110 diesel engine is performed using large universal CFD software STAR-CD and ES-ICE, the influence of different initial conditions and fuel injection on in-cylinder flow is specially analyzed. From the results the flow state mainly influencing the flow field in initial conditions of in-cylinder flow field computation of diesel engine intake process can be seen clearly, especially the form and the center of vortex. And the in-cylinder flow field distribution is directly influenced by the fuel injection flow in the process of spray.
