Abstract:With the rapid development of science and technology, science and technology closely integrate with economic and research misconduct which is contrary to the moral integrity of research breeds in the world range, which causes widespread concern in the community. The United States is one of the first countries in the world who carry out study of research integrity. In the process of promoting research integrity and preventing research misconduct, perfect policies and laws effectively play a co-ordinate, regulate, coordinate and guide role. By revealing the characteristics and trends of research integrity legal and policies development of U.S, drawing on experiences and lessons learned from the United States about research integrity administration structure and punitive measures and other aspects of policy and legal measures, in view of the defect related to the policies and laws of research integrity of China, this paper proposes the specific suggestions for improvement such as introducing criminal sanctions, expanding the scope of the subject and so on.
