Abstract:Aiming at the measurement requirements of high-precision, large field-of-view and fast measurement for the visual measurement system in wind tunnel isolation experiment, a monocular vision position and pose measurement method for the wind tunnel moving target based on color images is proposed. The method employs a monocular camera to measure the position and pose parameters of the moving target, which has the advantages of larger field of view and simple experiment setup compared with binocular vision position and pose measurement method. A parameter optimization method for camera calibration is proposed based on the mutual restraints among the feature points on the target, and the fast and high-accurate camera calibration is realized using a compound calibration target. Aiming at the image processing of high-speed targets, a new image fast segmentation and target positioning method based on image differencing & accumulating and marker position estimation is proposed to achieve the fast and accurate positioning of the image features. Aiming at the monocular vision measurement demands and the target motion characteristics, a marker layout based on direction estimation is proposed, the fast recognition and extraction of the corporative markers is realized. Finally, the position and pose information of the moving target was calculated using the monocular vision principle, and simulation experiments were conducted in the laboratory, which verifies the accuracy of the measurement system. The results indicate that the position measurement precision is less than 0.19 mm, the measurement precision of the pitch and yaw angles is less than 0.18° in the field-of-view range of 1 m×1 m. © 2016, Science Press.
