基于双目视觉的转动惯量测量方法

Abstract:Aiming at the influence of air resistance and mechanism resistance on the measurement precision of moment of inertia, a novel measurement method of the moment of inertia is proposed based on binocular visual theory and compound-pendulum for improving the measurement precision of the moment of inertia in this paper. In this new method, the errors caused by friction moment and air resistance can be reduced greatly. Firstly, the motion sequence images of a cooperation marker on the measured object are captured with binocular visual theory. Then the coordinates of the marker movement track are reconstructed with the principles of three dimension measurement. A curve fitting method considering the effects of friction moment and air resistance is presented for the compound pendulum track of the cooperation marker on the complex shaped object. Utilizing this method, the track of the cooperation marker in a single plane is acquired and the moment of inertia of the measured object is obtained. Wind tunnel experiment on the ultrasonic flight vehicle model with complex shape was conducted. Experiment results show that the measurement precision of moment of inertia reaches 1.1%, which indicates that the proposed method can achieve high efficient and convenient measurement of moment of inertia, satisfy the measurement requirements of moment of inertia for flight vehicle.
