Abstract:In order to offer better support for rapid product development of regional manufacturing enterprises, a regional networked manufacturing system oriented to Application Service Provider (ASP) mode was studied and developed. A novel information configuration framework of regional networked manufacturing system oriented to ASP mode was presented. Then, the details of its working process and function modules were discussed. Multi-Agent System (MAS) technology was applied to realize integration of regional manufacturing resources and to construct the corresponding Database Management System (DBMS). Unified Modeling Language (UML) use case diagram was used to denote the function requirements of the system. These new models were built based on Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), MAS and UML theories and techniques described above exerted great guidance to the construction of the system named DLUTASP, which was conducted in Dalian University of Technology. A case study has shown that the system had great potential to speed up the production development of manufacturing system.
