Abstract:The giant magnetostrictive actuator was affected by the external influences, specially used for the application of super precision positioning or feeding. It has the complex changes in magnetization subjected to an applied uniaxial stress. To study the Giant magnetostrictive actuator under the external uniaxial stress, defining the average magnetization calculated by the theory of magnetomechanical effect as hysteresis operator, and adjusting the interactive and coercive density function with the change of external stress of homogenized energy model, A magneto-mechanical coupled model is presented. The model is discreted for realtime implementation. Meanwhile, It gives the inverse algorithm for the model, furthermore, It simulated the actuator under the compress stress of 0, 10, 20, 100 MPa, and sketches the error between the model and its inverse algorithm, the simulated results proved the model and its inverse algorithm to be valid and effective.
