Abstract: The existing problems about camshafts grinding with constant-rotational speed are described. A kind of analytical procedure that realizes camshafts grinding with variable-rotational speed is discussed, and a mathematical model which is based on cam angle vector �� is established. The feasibility of this kind of analytical procedure is tested. So, it will provide theoretical basis for developing CNC grinding machine tool with variable-rotational speed.
