Abstract:Effects of composition and heat treatment on properties of Cu alloy were investigated by component orthogonal testing. The results show that hardness and electric conductivity of the Cu alloy are closely related to mass ratio of Ni to Si. With Ni/Si of 5, although electric conductivity of the Cu alloy is slightly changed, desirable strengthening effects on the Cu alloy can be observed. Meanwhile, the properties of the Cu alloy are also dependent on the solid solution treatment, aging treatment and cold forging. The high-strength and high conductivity Cu alloy with excellent mechanical properties and electric properties was successfully prepared, and the hardness and electric conductivity of the prepared Cu alloy reach HB181 and 14.94MS/m, respectively.
