摘要:A high-resolution finite element scheme is developed for the computation of free surface problems. The present higher-order accuracy scheme is obtained through the introduction of the difference of almost equal amount of diffusion and antidiffusion, where the antidiffusion is formulated as approximation to diffusion making use of consecutive gradient. The non-oscillatory properties are secured by limiters to preserve positivity constraints. The implement of the scheme is based on semi-discrete form and can be considered as reconstruction of the coefficient matrix of algebraic system, so, it can be conveniently used by either structured or unstructured meshes. The power and flexibility of the present high resolution VOF-FEM approach is validated by examples including convective transport, darn breaking flow, and stilling basin flow in hydraulic engineering.
