Abstract: A fluorescent probe DH1 has been successfully developed to detect HSA via site I non-covalent bonding. DH1 shows a dramatic fluorescence enhancement towards HSA without interference from other proteins. The molecular docking method, for the first time, was utilized to provide deep insight into the sensing mechanism of the probe. Moreover, probe DH1 was successfully used to detect trace HSA in healthy human urine.
