Abstract:Simulation is a powerful approach to relevant studies of real power balancing of power system, however, already existing simulation schemes either in the simulation, dynamic process, or in simulation efficiency can't meet research needs. In this paper, based on analyzing the characteristics of real power balancing simulation and the pros and cons of existing schemes, an improved simulation scheme is presented. This scheme uses a transient model of generating units, but simplifies parameters through classification, strategy and improves simulation efficiency through algebraic solution methods of units. As a result, the scheme not only can guarantee the simulation efficiency, but also give consideration to the simulation dynamic process. At the end of the paper, comparative tests are performed to provide the validity and accuracy of the proposed scheme.
