Creep-rupture property analysis and reliability prediction of creep-rupture life for low alloy heat-resistant CrMo steel

Abstract: Z parameter is used to analyze the dispersibility of creep-rupture data for 0.5Cr-0.5Mo, 1Cr-0.5Mo, and 0.5Mo steels in this paper. Reliability prediction of rupture life is carried out. It is proved that the creep rupture data of 1Cr-0.5Mo and 0.5Cr-0.5Mo are distributed in a narrow band, while the data of 0.5Mo are in its own data band. The distribution of Z parameter is supported by normal distribution. Compared with the safety factor method, the method based on Z parameter can perform reliability prediction of creep rupture life by considering the dispersibility of the rupture data, Keywords:
