Abstract: This paper presents Hamiltonian system based Saint Venant solutions for the problem of multi-layered composite plane anisotropic plates. A mixed energy variational principle is proposed, and dual equations are derived in the symplectic space. The schemes of separation of variables and eigenfunction expansion, instead of the traditional semi-inverse method, are implemented, and compatibility conditions at interfaces are formulated by dual variables. By expending eigenfunctions in the subspace with zero eigenvalue, an analytical solution of a cantilever composite plate is presented to illustrate the proposed approach.
