Abstract: A copper/silver-catalyzed decarboxylative trifluoromethylation of alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acids with CF3SO2Na was performed under relatively mild conditions. The reaction shows high E/Z selectivity and wide substrate tolerance. Ag2CO3 plays an important role in promoting the decarboxylation process.

Prev One:Highly efficient Cu(I)-catalyzed trifluoromethylation of aryl(heteroaryl) enol acetates with CF3 radicals derived from CF3SO2Na and TBHP at room temperature

Next One:Copper-mediated oxidative trifluoromethylthiolation of aryl boronic acids with CF3CO2Na and elemental sulfur
